Antti K. Grupid Finland, 24. veebruar 2011. a.	Keskeisellä paikalla oleva perushotelli Nähtäyyvkistä nauttivalle perushotelli keskustasta 7,3 Hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla vain muutama kymmenen metriä lähemmästä metroasemasta. Lisäksi lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä ovat sekä imperial garden, temppelialueet ja katetut ostoskadut. Hotelli itsessään on aika neutraali, ehkä jo paikoin vähän nuhjuinen. Huoneet ovat aivan perustasoa. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä, ja asiat kyllä hoituvat. Kyoto Royal -hotellin spa-nimestä saa kuvan, että siellä on peruskylpylä saunoineen ja uima-altaineen. Kuitenkin pettymyksekseni havaitsin, että kylpylä on enemmmin tarkoitettu erilaisiin hoitoihin. Vastaanottovirkailijan mukaan siellä ei ole edes saunaa.

Hotelli erinomaisella paikalla Hotelli todella hyvallä paikalla, lähellä turistinähtävyyksiä joita tulimme Kiotoon katselemaan 8,7 Hotelli oli erinomaisella paikalla turistinähtävyyksien lähellä. Se oli meille tärkeätä koska matkustimme kahden tenavaikäisen pojan viikarien kanssa. Hotellin henkilökunta oli avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Ja kertoi auliisti paikallista nahtavyyksistä jotka kannattaa katsoa. Hotelli oli olemukseltaan siisti ja myös kylpäläpalveluja oli tarjolla. Niitä emme kuitenkaan lyhyellä visiitillämme kerenneet käyttää. Aamupala oli ehkä vähän hinnakas, mutta niin se yleensä on 4 tähden hotelleissa. Mutta kaiken kaikkiaan ne kolme päivää jotka vietimme hotellissa on hintansa väärti.

The staff were extremely helpful and discrete and the hotel room service was exemplary. We would certainly come to this hotel again. Our only concern was difficulty with the hotel's wi-fi connection and the lack of wifi to the rooms but this was not a major issue for us as we used the computers in the lobby .

Great Location but no frills Great location, clean, and very comfortable hotel. 8,7 We had a great time, but if you appreciate having more amenities, for the money there are other places to stay. The hotel does not have anything for children-young or old to do. The menu and food looked appealing but we couldn't justify spending upwards of $25 per person for breakfast, especially with so many choices nearby.

Lisa M. Paarid Australia, 3. mai 2013. a.	Comfortable, helpful, hospitable & central Close to dining, attractions & transport 9,3 We had a lovely stay for 5 nights at this hotel. We had a twin room which was large & spotlessly clean. It is an easy walk to many dining options in central kyoto & Pontocho as well as to the shopping areas and Nishiki market. It is close to a subway stop and easy to find. We used the subway to get to Nijo castle and rode bikes to Kinkakuji, Ryoanji and Arashiyama. The concierge were very helpful in arranging tickets for us to the miyako odori. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

It is in a convenient location for shopping and dining. The hotel is also very close to a subway station. I hope to stay here again in the future.

A comfortable stay Very helpful staff, excellent location, clean and comfortable room 8,3 I was very satisfied with my stay at the Kyoto Royal Hotel and Spa. The original room that I was given was not in great condition and faced into the hotel centre. I upgraded to a double, twin room with a view. The transfer was handled very efficiently. The second room was large and comfortable and was cleaned thoroughly each day. A number of front counter staff were proficient in english. Hotel staff were at all times professional, polite and helpful. The hotel is in an outstanding location, ideally situated for restaurants, shopping and public transport. The LAN internet provided in the room was fast and reliable.
