Paarid Philippines, 20. aprill 2013. a.	beach relaxin' beach, white sand, saltwater pool 8,7 i really appreciate that they maintained the beach to have very minimal seaweeds and rocks and that, one can clearly see that the beach floor is carpeted with white sand and as reflected by the very pale green-colored water.

Lush setting with helpful staff and saltwater pool Loved the saltwater pool and the beach and garden setting 9 Clean and modern bathrooms, charming garden setting and pleasant small white sand beach are nice for a couple of nights to rest and explore Samal Island. The only problem was the 4 guests in the cabana next door were up talking all night on their veranda and kept us from sleeping. Nice breakfasts and simple but good food. Reisivihje: Allow time to transfer over by boat from the Davao Insular Waterfront Hotel as it takes about 20 minutes

A well kept/maintained resort 7 Family of 3, w/ a 4 Y old girl. We've stayed 6 nights in Chema's. We were very happy with the choice. Pleasant and nice room, w big size bed, tidy toilet and a great porch (overlooking beach Seaview) every time. Flat TV set in the room and wireless Internet acess (not stable all the time in Philippines! ) We had a nice impression about the resot's proprietor, who friendly welcomed us and treat us drinks on arrival. Small but beautiful little beach (Kind of private) safe and joyful for toddlers. Sea water swimming pool with great views over Samal strait. Great place to rest and un-wind. And forget outside world or wrist watch and stress big city life (I..e. what were looking). Staff friendly, helpful and simple. Overall pleased with this choice.

Chema's by the Sea Beach Resort 風景 8 Perfect placeto stay if you're with your family...So peaceful and quiet... no loud noise at night and even on day time.Jazz and blues music are being played all daywhich makes it more relaxing and stress free. Hotel Feature Tip: 餐點雖然不貴但是很難吃

The beach area is very well maintained. I loved the cottage! The furnishings made the place very inviting. The owner was also very accommodating and ensured that guests are comfortable. Definitely a place to relax and chill. Highly recommended. Sure to come back with my kids in tow.

Green Resort by the sea, its landscape, friendly staff, great tasting native food, sea-water infinity pool 8 We adored the resort's landscape of greenery perfect for a quiet, and calming 2 night stay. True to its name, "by the sea", it is always a delight having breakfast in the balcony, listening to the sound of the waves of the sea. The staff were all friendly and attentive to our needs. The cottage was adorned with very nice wood furniture and decors. It was roomy with clean bathroom. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Tour of Samal Island

Daryl B. Paarid New Zealand, 1. aprill 2012. a.	Great location and ambiance, great for relaxation Ambiance, location, gardens, rooms. 7,7 Very pleasant place to stay but beware the hidden extras. I travel internationally and usually have a bottle or two of duty free with me. After consuming a bottle of relatively cheap whisky I was informed there was a corkage charge of 1,000 peso (more than the full price of the bottle) ... and another 200 per small bottle of local rum (5 times the cost price) ....no signage to this effect anywhere. May have been acceptable if there were a decent bar on site ... but very limited with only full bottle sales at 3 x the going price. Guests visiting will be charged for entering the grounds ..... no tea or coffee is available in the rooms - must be purchased from the hotel ... meals are reasonable but limited - no food again allowed from outside. The cost of boat trips to / from the mainland is considerably more than that charged by other resorts While the rooms were very very pleasant, and the grounds fantastic, most of the decent seating areas by the sea / pool are pre-booked by day trippers who arrive from about 0800 onwards complete with boom boxes, so these rather fabulous seating areas are not often available to hotel guests. Again a fabulous place to relax and chill out for families or couples ..... just be aware of the eccentricities of the place which tend to spoil what would otherwise be close to the best spot I've found yet.
