Good clean Guest House Friendly owners, staff - value for money 7,7 stayed here a year ago. new owners. even better. owners could not do more to please. above and beyond expectations. only con that i can think of is that the mattresses are very firm for the western traveller. would stay again.

A bit out of the way Price ok, nice and quite if you want to sleep, 5,3 Very difficult to find,took a tuk tuk from the Bus station to the guesthouse but the driver couldn't find the place, hidden away behind the Plaza Hotel. Had to get the GPS on my telephone to help. Very quite when i was there in January had to look for the staff to get my breakfast at 08:00. Price was ok including breakfast but there are alot of other places in Chiang Mai for about the same price and it could do with a refurbishing. If you want a place close to the night market it's ok but it's a bit far from the old town. It had changed owner in September a friendly Indian man owns it now who speaks very good English.

And about 2~30 minutes will take to pratu thapae gate on foot. I recommend to take sungtaeu. Room price is cheap and room is nice. Only one problem is the road near this hotel is too dark and nobody is there especially in the night. Maybe you feel little scare.

I don't know why, but the closet stood in front of the window. There may also be little lizard and/or a lot of ants in your room. Wouldn't recommend it. Restaurant Tip: There is a restaurant called "Whole Earth" nearby which has a really nice atmosphere and good food.

It's a little run down and for some reason they never clean the rooms or resupply for with necessitates/towels unless you ask. It's kind of a strange place, but I'm into the price so go figure...

Reasonable price but not worth the trek Price 5,7 Location is not so great, down a deserted street behind another hotel, and quite a walk (20 mins) from the edge of the old town. Far from the walking streets, though close to the (not very interesting) night bazaar. Rooms were not the cleanest, and the floor was covered in paper which got caught under the door every time we opened it. As mentioned, the bed was very hard, but that didn't affect our sleep. Not for the squeamish if you're afraid of lizards. But, the price was right, though we saw cheaper options in the old town.

Air con worked GREAT and the bathroom was large as well. Staff was friendly and the location was within walking distance to the night bazaar and a few good restaurants. The only downside was the hardness of the bed. The floor may have been softer.. BUT for the price I paid for an air con room I can't complain!
