Reasonable location with over attentive staff Good sized room, fast service breakfast, walking distance to several attractions 7,7 The hotel was fine but I found the staff always in my face because whenever I returned to the hotel they asked me what I was doing next. ie they were looking to sell me a tour/ticket for the next thing.

Breakfast was poor, despite ordering the night before, they got my order wrong. Don't bother with the fruit salad, it's just a few slices of apple and banana. Good enough however.

The staff helped us with our every request, recommended local Vietnamese restaurants and were very friendly in general. Our room was upgraded for free and it was big, light and the bathroom was nice. The breakfast was uninteresting, but at least we had several options. We would definately come back

Average hotel outside of tourist area Cost, Character, Size 5,3 Hotel staff is very friendly and first impression was clean room although a bit dated. Beds are very hard, breakfast is simple and small but good. Not near the tourist sites. A long walk (in the heat) or taxi ride away. No great restaurants near by. Yes, semi-cheap, $20 for 3 beds, but we had stiff backs/necks the next day. Our bathroom door did not shut (privacy from our kids) and water sprayed all over the bathroom floor from the shower. Air con and fan worked great. Wifi good. Quiet street. We only stayed here one night and moved to a hotel in the tourist area near the river with cheap, yummy restaurants and near the night market. Room Tip: Ask to check beds for softness before committing to a room.

The rooms were a good size and clean. As it is tucked down an alley it took us a while to find it, although that was not helped by some unhelpful advice from locals who pointed us in the wrong direction! There are signs at both ends of the alley though so once you locate that it's easy! It's a quiet location. The price for renting bicycles was reasonable.
