Attractive room design, located in well to do area Comfortable bed, attractive room, traditional building 8 This is a boutique hotel with rooms that are different from the run of the mill design. The bed was particularly comfortable with soft sheets. The hotel building is old but has been extensively refurbished. One felt part of the neighbourhood. The hotel is on a main street with bus stops nearby and the metro a 5-10 minute walk which felt safe even at night. There are good shops nearby and it is easy to reach sightseeing spots. If you want to swim there is a public indoor 50m pool in c/Paris about 10 minutes away but check the opening hours.

The hotel is not super central, but very easily accesible. The key advantage is that the rooms are fairly spacy and quite newly refurbished/modern. Internet is free and good quality. We did not eat/serve breakfast.

Great hotel in great location Clean, modern, good service, overall great hotel 9,3 We stayed at the Wilson for 3 nights for our stay in Barcelona and loved it. We had sent a request for 1 large bed instead of 2 beds put together, but they didn't receive it, so we were placed in a room with 2 beds instead. It was very large, because it was a handicap accessible room, with the window facing the street. Unfortunately it was on the same floor as the breakfast area so we got woken up really early in the morning because it was so loud. However, when we changed rooms the next day, they gave us a room facing the back street (hardly any natural lighting), and it was less than half the size of the first one. It was so cramped we barely had space to lay down our luggage. But it was too late to ask for the original room back, so we just dealt with it. the good thing is we didn't stay in the hotel too much since there is so much to see in barcelona! Overall the hotel is great - great service, incredibly fast wifi (free), great air con, very clean, friendly staff... next time we're in barcelona, we'll definitely consider this hotel again. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: if you go to barcelona and know how to ride a 50 cc vespa - rent a vespa from Vesping for a day or two. it was the best thing we did over our whole 2 week vacation in spain! The guys were really helpful and it had a gps that had great tours to do around the city (ESPECIALLY TIBIDABO) - on your own time! just like the locals. :)

The subway is around 5-10 min walk away. if you are planning to take the tourism bus, the stop is about 8 min away, so it is quite convenient. Room is nicely decorated, especially liked the bathroom with 2 wash basin, so wont have to fight over it.

Clean, modern and in an area away from the bustle, but still very convenient. Lots of shops and restaurants Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Great Travel Agent at the end of the street next to El Fornet bakery. Miguel helped us with all our ongoing travel needs. El Fornet great for a cheap breakfast, fresh orange juice, coffee and bakery.

Great stay View with balcony 8,3 It was a very pleasant stay, the hotel is right along diagonal avenue so everything is accessible, this includes bars, shopping and restos of any type just around the corner. They gave me a room with a small balcony and overall the room was good, they put two single beds together to form the queen bed and the pillows were kinda on the flat side but the balcony was nice and not all rooms have them so i guess that made up for it. The people at the reception were nice, wifi was fast and aircon was strong which is important especially during the summer months.

Quiet and decent hotel Quiet 5,3 Quiet but small, only one passenge lift and very slow, lack of facilities, e.g., coffee, tea, kettle, water, etc. Very inconvenient for bathing as the bath room is a window curtain one ( it is the worst part of the guest room ! )

I had to go out for food because they only serve breakfasts. Hotel amenities such as iron had to be requested, no room slippers and no complimentary bottled water. The hotel staff are very helpful and accomodating to give advise on booking a hop-on, hop-off tour bus. Everything, the room and toilet were very clean. The balcony in my room, gave very nice view of the locale. Over-all, I will stay here and recommend the place. They have reliable wifi service too! Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Do not forget to get the packet of discounted tour bus service from the lobby.
