Shame they charge you extra for the pool after 4 pm. Breakfast could be better (no fresh juices, only orqanges and apples for fruits, no omlets).

Average hotel definitely not 4 star, good location reasonable price, excellent location 8 The hotel is located within walk-able distance of all major attractions such as Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Shazade Camii, Spice Bazaar, Big Bazaar etc. You will save a lot on Taxi. Also, it is close to Metro and Tram. Breakfast, though not exactly inspiring, is free. They charge 110 Liras (or approx 50 Euros) for airport transfer (both ways) and provide excellent service. Staff is polite and helpful. Rooms are bit small and old, but clean.

Grand Bazaar is about 10 minutes walk and Aya Sofia is about 20 minutes walk. Plenty of dining places, money changers, souvenir shops all over the place. The staff at Zagreb are very friendly, polite and helpful. Shopping Tip: Bargain before you decide to shop something. Leave your shopping till the last day or two as there are many thing you may want to bring back with you, but will be limited by what you can carry with you. Try the local seafood. It is fresh and delicious.

Staff are friendly and speak good English. The breakfast is excellent. The only downside is that the room is really small. Not a problem for me since my philosophy is to spend as much time outside of the hotel as possible, but something to note.
